Zero tsiklid on üle prahi.

The company was founded by Neal Saiki who is a former NASA engineer and has also won numerous design awards in the sports world. Tudengina osales esimese inimjõul liikuva helikopteri tegemisel (oli tiimi juht) - The History of the Human Powered Helicopter Project. The Da Vinci III, also called Leonardo III, was the first human powered helicopter to achieve liftoff. In December 1989, it reached 8 inches and 8 seconds (7.1 seconds according to some sources).

Ten reasons why you should be excited about electric motorcycles

Raul @ 29.03.2010 15:13 | Registreerunud: 01.04.2003

3. Electric motorcycles are easy to maintain and extremely rugged

Unlike internal combustion motorcycles, there's virtually no moving parts inside an electric motorcycle, which means virtually no maintenance and virtually nothing that's going to break. Really. All the other stuff -- the brakes, the suspension, the bearings and whatnot -- are standard motorcycle stuff, which means you can probably service them at home.

Zero founder Neal Saiki says that you could ride any of his products underwater if you let him seal the ECU first. At some point, they plan to do that for a promo. He's also been selling a few bikes to the special forces for use in Afghanistan. Why? Unlike gas bikes, they don't explode when they're shot by snipers.

Blindspot Cycles

Blindspot Cycles is a company that builds custom electric motorcycles. Each bike is specifically tailored to the customer’s needs or desires. Blindspot Cycles not only provides zero emissions vehicles, but most of our vehicles are recycled from junkyards. After completing a full gas-powered life of service, we rescue them from the grave and resurrect them to ride again but with new, clean, American-made, proven technology. Every bike is one of a kind and made under the same philosophy: resurrected and recycled motorcycles.

Our bikes are capable of up to 80+ mph and have a range of up to 60+ miles. Generally these bikes are not designed to be highway vehicles, but highway speeds are possible, if that is a small portion of a client’s commute. At 50 mph with a 30 mile range (average), riders have plenty of versatility to commute shorter distances within their community and surrounding areas with style! Noise pollution is also no longer an issue, since our bikes are almost silent.

KTM Freeride

Golden Motori mootorratas

Golden Motor on nüüd lisaks jalgratta rummusisestele mootoritele hakanud tootma ka muid rattaid sh. siis mootorratta rattaid. Ratta mõõdud tunduvad nats väikesed - muidu muudaks taoline vidin vanade mootrrataste elektrikateks pimpimise väga lihtsaks ;)

The X-Tracer Team won $2.5 million for the X-Prize Alternative Tandem competition with a 205.3 MPGe faired electric motorcycle. That electric vehicle is now known as the MonoTracer-E, and below is a video of it in action on the highway; the team was invited to display it at the 2010 SEMA Show, and instead of putting it in a truck they figured why not drive over there with it and maybe set an efficiency record on the 625 miles roundtrip (why not?).

"The running gag is they paid the Venice beach musician $5 to record his song, and the X-Tracer used the equivalent of $5 of electricity for the 625 mile (1005,84 km) roundtrip through the desert. The 70kWhr energy consumed noted in the opening title works out to 8.9 mi per kWhr or ~300MPGe (using 35kWhrs for the energy equivalency of 1 gallon of gasoline). "

1 USD = ca 12 eek
... 5x12= 60 eek / 1000 km ... 6 senti km
Tegemist USA hindadega - Eestis on rekord elektrirolleril 2 senti/km.
